There is so much more to Bvlgari’s Serpenti collection than meets the eye, and the story behind how the serpent came to be one of the most iconic motifs in the world of jewellery begins in 1948, which was when the first Serpenti watch was conceived. This era was decades after the maison’s founding in 1884, and far past its origins of producing silverware and luxury ornaments. But what do the years matter when we speak of art that is timeless? 

This is the journey that the Serpenti has undergone, and now, in its latest novelty releases for 2026, we get new iterations of the collection that is still very much relevant in a world that’s advanced 70 years since its inception. 

Six new models have been added to the ranks of this collection, of which the necklaces, made from white- and yellow-gold varieties, work best with the Esquire man’s wardrobe. 

Already, we’ve seen notable men from the local and international scenes—Damiano David, Hudson Williams, and Nadhir Nasar to name a few—donning various iterations of the Serpenti, and these pieces work well both under and over a shirt, both offering different effects. 

The thing about the Serpenti collection is that it’s not subtle, and neither should it be. But for the men who want pieces that lean towards the wear-and-go variety, then the pendant necklaces fit the bill. This is because these necklaces wouldn’t look out of place when paired with a more casual outfit, but they still maintain the Serpenti DNA when one takes a closer look.
