This year, the late Queen Elizabeth II would have celebrated her 100th birthday. It's a big moment for royalists, sure, but also something Central Cee is getting down with. At Coachella, 27-year-old Cench paid his respects to the Queen with a massive piece of extravagant neckwear.

The buzzy rapper, known to wax lyrical (literally) about jewellery ("If they're wearin' a chain and ain't taggin' the jewellers, I'm gonna assume that it must be fake," he raps on "Must Be"), wore an iced-out pendant and chain for his performance on Coachella's Mojave Stage. The chain, which flapped around atop his custom "Cap" Gap hoodie, featured the unmistakable side profile of the late Queen Elizabeth II. At one point, he even took it off and swung it around as if it was no big deal. It was his way of reminding people where he's from.

The thing is, it is a big deal. It's a chain he's worn before, and it's supposedly worth an estimated £300,000 to £400,000. Yep, roughly the price of a standard semi-detached home in some parts of the UK. It was designed by Central Cee and his mate, jeweller Abtin Abbasi, founder of London-based A Jewellers. The independent jewellery shop, which has a home in London's historic diamond district Hatton Garden, has become the go-to for the UK's biggest rappers - Skepta's a regular customer, as is Digga D, while Slow Thai and AJ Tracey also get their bling from Northwest London-born Abbasi. The Queen Lizzy piece, easily Cench's best bit of gear, does the late royal justice - the 3D pendant is fully iced out in diamonds on one side, while on the other it features a full rose gold version of the queen's side profile - the same face you'll find on pennies and 50ps.

With Central Cee taking to the stage next weekend again, as is the norm with Coachella's dual weekend format, expect him to fly the flag for Britain again with that icy drip.
