The eponymous label, motoguo, has created a unique profile for itself in the modern fashion industry since 2015. Three minds shaped the brand: the creative directors, Moto Guo and Kinder Eng, and business partner Jay Perry Ang. 

The brand first emerged as a menswear label but has since developed into something more fluid and genderless, combining romance, nostalgia, tongue-in-cheek whimsy, and a touch of cynicism, all of which feel effortless in each collection. 

After a year of hibernation following a dream-themed collection, motoguo has returned for Fall/Winter 2026 with a very personal kind of storytelling. Called “Coming Soon”, the collection explores anticipation. It’s the feeling that something good is on the horizon, which can often feel more important than whatever the end result might be. The collection is grounded in the rediscovery of vulnerability and healing. It reflects a process of looking inward and embracing both past and present.

Both creative directors weave their emotional truths into every piece here. Moto digs into moments shaped by pressure and chasing victory. Meanwhile, Kinder pulls warmth from the steady hope in the film Little Miss Sunshine, one of his inspirations. 

With shapes that speak louder than words, the new motoguo collection blends tenderness with grit, through contrasts in fine, lightweight fabrics and structured silhouettes; pastel shades and loud prints. 

The brand’s playful spirit carries through some of the standout pieces. The “Coming Soon” Track Jacket features a relaxed boxy fit and mythical horn illustration against a striking red base. 

Texture stands out in the large H2OHHH~ sweater, where knitted water droplets, retro-inspired stripes, and hand-sewn metal bear buttons come together. Sharpness returns in The Parseltongue knitted biker jacket with its snake-scale jacquard textures. The sleeves curve like a python's movement, and carefully selected vintage buttons make each piece feel personal.
