Hermès' Fall/Winter 2026 menswear arrives as both a collection and a closing statement. After 37 years at the helm of the house’s men’s universe, Véronique Nichanian will present her final collection this January during Paris Men’s Fashion Week 2026.
The show marks the end of one of fashion’s rare long games. In an era of short creative tenures and an industry that is constantly seeking out the ‘next’, Nichanian quietly built a wardrobe designed to outlast the conversation around it.
Her philosophy has always been simple. In her farewell statement, she wrote, “My wish has always been to create clothes of today for the long term. To me, there is not an Hermès man; there are Hermès men.” In other words, no archetypes nor trends, but just good clothes made in the likeness of her decades-long partnership with the house, and good clothes made to last.
This final chapter also sits at a turning point for the house. Hermès has confirmed Grace Wales Bonner as the next Creative Director of Hermès Menswear. Announced in late 2025, the appointment marks a significant shift, with Wales Bonner becoming the first Black woman to lead design at a major fashion house. She is set to debut in January 2027, marrying her cultural depth with Hermès’ heritage and craftsmanship.
As Hermès prepares for its next chapter, the collection stands as the culmination of Nichanian’s labour. This season, then, will not be about spectacle or reinvention. It will be a show about closure and consistency, honouring the past while quietly signalling what comes next. Witness the collection that will undoubtedly become a future reference point, from which everything that follows will inevitably be measured live on Saturday, 24 January 2026 at 8 p.m. (Paris) or Sunday, 25 January 2026 at 4 a.m. (Malaysia) via the livestream here.
